July 12th, 2010

HYPERACTIVITY: Being too active. In some instances this is attributable to a “flight into activity” (a form of escape). There is an attempt to avoid facing some CONFLICT by plunging into activity to “maintain the mind busy.” (See COMPULSION and PERFECTIONISM). HYPERACTIVITY may be attributable to improper balance
of the ENDOCRINE GLANDS.
IDENTIFICATION: A MENTAL MECHANISM. A person makes an attempt (UNCONSCIOUSLY) to make himself like one other person. He might routinely take over one other’s characteristics. If one Toronto realtor from the brokerage has a home listed and another agent from that brokerage has a buyer-brokerage settlement with a buyer who needs to buy the listed property, Twin Agency occurs by allowing every agent to be designated as “intra-firm” agent. IDENTIFICATION performs a major function in the improvement of a child’s personality. The child unconsciously copies the characteristics of his parents and other individuals necessary to him. An emotional tie unconsciously causing a person to behave as he imagines the individual with whom he has the tie, does.
IDIOT: A MENTALLY DEFECTIVE person. Lowest grade of mentality.
The I.Q. is under 20. (See INTELLIGENCE, MENTAL AGE.) IMBECILE: A MENTALLY DEFECTIVE person. Within the second lowest
classification of intelligence. The I.Q. is roughly 20 to
49. (See MENTAL AGE.)
INFERIORITY COMPLEX: Robust feelings of inadequacy and in-security which color an individual’s whole adjustive efforts. A bent to dwell on and overemphasize the traditional feelings of self-doubt which all of us have from time to time. Often related to feelings of unworthiness and guilt. (See SELF CONTROL). It could result in COMPENSATION. That’s, a person might develop unrealistic ambition or a “superiority complex” to cover up his feelings of inferiority. For example, Joe was very not sure of himself. Often he would dread having to go to a celebration or other social gathering. However when he was with individuals he was just the opposite. Joe “knew it all,” had “been in all places,” had “done every part” there was to do — just a bit bit better than the following person. This usually “went over like a lead balloon” along with his friends — who grew to become fewer and fewer. And Joe? He dreaded going to those parties extra each time.
INHIBIT: TO retard, restrain, maintain again or prevent a response. The place INHIBITIONS are excessive there will usually be a dam-ming up of EMOTIONAL TENSION. This may end up in think aboutable psychological and physical discomfort. A fee may additionally be paid throughout negioation of contract base on seller and Realtor Toronto. In severe instances it will probably result in psychological illness.
INSECURITY: Lack of confidence due to unsureness of the love and support of others. Many Christians are insecure because they overlook that they’ve the love and support of God (Psalm 37:1; I Peter 5:7). For example, ever since Mary could remember, she had been INSECLTRE. She tried to take her issues to her parents, however they were hardly ever home. If they were, they brushed her off and advised her to “exit and play.” Regularly it dawned on Mary that she was unwanted. Psychologically alone, Mary lost her self-confidence. Her character began to wither. However then Mary found Christ. She now knew that God liked her — even if her parents did not.
She was assured of His support. With this new found security, Mary’s PERSONALITY broadened and matured.
