Bosses Day 2010
August 15th, 2010
If you are working person, then you probably have a boss. Our bosses are the persons who we possibly love and hate the most of anyone. They give us the most mind bogglingly hard tasks and they also give us the most overwhelming incentives and benefits that we need. They push us to our limits and they point out our limitations. They give us the best praise and the worst scolds we may ever receive. They hire us but they can also fire us. One moment you can be their favorite and another the most hated person in the company. There are several things we know about our bosses, but what does really matter about them? We always want to please them, after all, they help us get our salary which enables us to pay our bills and provide necessities and even luxuries. Don’t you think they deserve at least a day of rest from all the pressure they undergo from running hard businesses – that is what Bosses Day 2010 is for. Everyone deserves a break and some praise.
It’s time to give back! On the October 16th 2010 is the day dedicated to your boss. National bosses day 2010 is the moment where you applaud your boss for handling your company and doing such a terrific job in the business. This is the reason why Patricia Bays Haroski registered this day at the Chamber of Commerce in 1958. Apparently, she had forgotten to celebrate her boss’s birthday on 16th of October, unfortunately and her boss happened to be her father.
Although many of us feel awkward hanging out with our boss either because of intimidation or because of all the faulty things they said about us, we still need to thank them for the things we learned from them: They have been mentors to all their subordinates for the whole year. They have pressures upon them but still manage to stay focussed on their jobs. And, besides, we do need their strong and positive recommendations for our further career growth. They were the ones who guided us in the corporate world and gave us the learning that we need to stay in the business. Your boss’s not giving you enough praise for all your hard work should not affect you. They appreciate you for improving your company. So go out and buy them some tokens and thank them for being fair to you for the whole year! Bosses Day 2010 is the way to make your boss happy.
